Meet Dr. Jay

Dr. Jay grew up on the shores of Oahu. Between working at the family service station and attending Mid-Pacific Institute you could find him out in the sunshine catching waves. One youthful summer he even scraped up enough cash to buy a surfboard selling coconuts and sugarcane. His dream of becoming an optometrist led him to Pacific University where he ultimately received his Doctorate of Optometry degree.

Today, after raising a beautiful family in Kona and coaching countless sports teams, you’ll find Dr. Jay playing handyman around the house, traveling to see his kids, or still out in that sunshine…catching fish, not waves!
